Areas of Treatment

People seek counseling and therapy for a wide variety of reasons.  Below are just a few of the areas that we can explore together:

  • Stress, anxiety, and depression
  • Insecurity
  • Grief support
  • Childhood psychological/emotional wounding
  • Transitions into parenthood
  • Personal growth
  • Existential crises
  • Spirituality

I am an LGBT ally and poly-friendly therapist.

Modalities Used

Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all approach.  Just as we all resonate with certain people and not others, so too will we find that some forms of therapy are a better fit for us than others.  At the same time, I truly believe that ultimately the methods used are not as important as the relationship that develops between a client and their counselor.  This is where a lot of the benefits of therapy occur.

That being said, I practice therapy that is inspired by the following interdependent modalities:

Clinical Supervision

I also offer clinical supervision of LPC Interns in Oregon.

I am particularly interested in working with interns who are wanting to bring an anti-capitalist and decolonizing lens to mental health and mindfulness, and/or an abolitionist approach towards the medical industrial complex we're steeped in as mental healthcare providers. Outside of those two areas I'm also happy to work with anyone willing to further explore their role as an advocate for social justice as they develop in their role as a therapist.
I also wish to remain available to supervise interns who identify as BIPOC, and will be reserving lower-fee supervision slots for these interns.
